Azamgarh man fighting for Russia killed in Ukraine drone attack

New Delhi: Another Indian man has been killed in Russia-Ukraine war. This time a man from Azamgarh has died in a drone attack by Ukraine. The deceased man has been identified as Kanhaiya Yadav.
The 42-year-old Kanhaiya was reportedly fighting on behalf of Russia in the ongoing war with Ukraine.

It is said that many youths from Azamgarh and other districts in Uttar Pradesh have been killed during Russia’s war with Ukraine. Kanhaiya Yadav’s body has been brought back to Azamgarh on December 23.

Several images of Kanhaiya Yadav fighting on the frontline have also viral on social media.
According to reports, agents based in Delhi fraudulently took Kanhaiya to Russia around six months back.

TV9 Network has also exposed the scam which caused a stir. The audio recordings of agents in Delhi and Russia have surfaced on social media.

Two Indian nationals killed in Russia

Earlier in June this year, two Indian nationals recruited by the Russian Army, were killed in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

India’s Ministry of External Affairs had strongly taken up the matter with the Russian authorities and with its Ambassador in New Delhi seeking early release and return of all Indians who were fighting with Russian Army in Ukraine.
