Ayodhya Ram Mandir anniversary: 6 lakh chants of Shri Ram to be recited on second day

Ayodhya: The three day celebrations are currently on in Ram Temple to celebrate the first anniversary of Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha.  The rituals and celebration started on January 11, the same will continue till January 13. While last year, the temple was inaugurated on January 22, the celebrations this year started on January 11 as the first anniversary marks on this day as per the Hindu calendar.

Second day programmeAnuradha Paudwal will sing bhajans

On the first day, the the three-day event started with Maha Aarti, Abhishek and Shringar of Ram Lalla. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, who was in the temple yesterday took part in the MahaAbhishek, after which he also addressed the devotees.

Second day programme

The second-day ritual started at 8 AM this morning. During this, 40 chapters of Yajurveda recited, offerings with mantras. Apart from these, 6 lakh chants of Shri Ram Mantra will be recited in the temple premises till 5:00 pm. Hanuman Chalisa Purush Sukta, Shri Sukta, Aditya Hridya Stotra, Ram Raksha Stotra will also be recited. The Rag Seva will also be to the Ram Lalla in the prayer hall

Anuradha Paudwal will sing bhajans

There will be discourses on the life of Lord Shri Ram at Angad Tila during the day which will be delivered by Jagatguru Ramanujacharya Swami Vasudevacharya. Apart from this, there will be cultural programmes from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm in which famous artists like folk singer Malini Awasthi, Anuradha Paudwal and Kavita Paudwal will sing bhajans.

Importantly, the Temple management has invited a total of 110 VIPs from across the country and abroad to attend the mega event this time. It has also invited the common people, who could not be invited during the inauguration last year, to be part f the three-day events.
