New Delhi: Bollywood’s veteran star Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his birthday this year with a lavish purchase. The Deewar actor turned 82 on October 11 and added a swanky car to his garage. Reportedly, Amitabh purchased an electric BMW i7 luxury sedan worth Rs 2.03 crore and it boasts several notable features.
Initially, the car was spotted by a YouTube channel called Cars For You, who noticed it during Amitabh’s recent meet and greet with his fans outside his home Jalsa in Mumbai. Amitabhm who became a household name with Kaun Banega Crorepati bought an Oxide Grey Metallic colour car.

As per Indian Express, the car has a “12.3-inch infotainment screen, 14.9-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 5.5-inch touchscreen at the rear.” Additionally, it features a 31.3-inch theatre screen for passengers on the rear seat.

This year, Amitabh had rather a simple birthday celebration. He met his fans outside his house Jalsa in Mumbai and later took to his blog and to express his gratitude to his fans. “A day when we shall meet again at the GOJ .. and the visit twice in a few days is so overwhelming .. so grateful for your blessings .. There is strong desire to keep reading Babuji’s works and to make every effort to bring to the World at large .. to understand and to be able to give wht his words and philosophies meant not just to him , but to an entire generation of thinkers and writers and readers and listeners,” he wrote.
“This is of utmost priority and I do pray with the support and cooperation of the many lovers of his poetry and words we shall be able to accomplish that,” the Don actor added.
