New Delhi:  A six-year-old prodigy from Telangana’s Karimnagar is getting widespread attention with a talent far beyond his years. Vidhat, in his latest creations, has clubbed a striking likeness of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which was completed in just 20 minutes using 99 Rubik’s Cubes.

He amazed many online by creating intricate portraits using Rubik’s Cubes,  a skill that challenges even seasoned artists. What sets him apart isn’t just his ability to solve standard 3×3 puzzles with ease, but his remarkable flair for transforming them into detailed, pixel-style portraits. At an age when most children are just learning how to align colours, he is already crafting portraits with impressive precision.

Vidhat’s journey began at age three

Vidhat’s fascination with Rubik’s Cubes began when he was just three. What started as a simple hobby quickly evolved into a passion. With consistent practice and online lessons, he not only mastered cube-solving but also began experimenting with turning them into portraits. His earliest works featured his parents and self-portraits, created using both memory and reference photos.

Vidhat’s fascination with cubes began when he was just three. What started as a simple hobby quickly turned into a passion. With consistent practice and online lessons, he not only mastered solving the cubes but also began experimenting with turning them into pixel-style portraits. His earliest works included images of his parents and even self-portraits, made using both memory and reference photos.

Recognising his extraordinary potential, his parents, Sujatha and Nitin Reddy,  arranged for professional online coaching to support his growth. They are now planning to enrol him in advanced training programs in Hyderabad. “It’s incredible to see him recreate faces like Modi and Pawan Kalyan using nothing but Rubik’s Cubes. We want to support him in setting a world record,”  they said.

Prodigy bagged many prizes

Vidhat has already showcased his skills in competitive settings, including the Telangana Cube Championship 2024 and the DC Open July Hyderabad 2024. Despite competing against much older participants, he held his own in both the 3x3x3 and 2x2x2 categories, proving that age is no barrier when it comes to talent.
