‘He is speaking the language of Pakistan’: BJP compares Rahul Gandhi with Asim Munir

New Delhi: BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya has hit out at Rahul Gandhi  after he called out External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar for his “damning silence” on the number of aircraft India lost under Operation Sindoor. Malviya posted a photo targeting the senior Congress leader, in which one half shows Rahul Gandhi and the other half shows Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir. Sharing the image on X, Amit Malviya wrote that Rahul Gandhi is speaking the language of Pakistan.

Malviya said that it is not surprising that Rahul Gandhi is speaking the language of Pakistan and its sympathisers. He did not congratulate the Prime Minister on Operation Sindoor, which clearly reflects India’s dominance and superiority over Pakistan.

The BJP IT cell chief further wrote that instead, Rahul Gandhi keeps repeatedly asking how many jets we lost — a question that has already been addressed in the DGMO briefings.

Interestingly, Malviya said, Rahul Gandhi has not asked even once how many Pakistani jets were shot down during the conflict, or how many aircraft were destroyed while parked in their hangars during the Indian Army’s bombing of Pakistani airbases. What’s next for Rahul Gandhi — the Nishan-e-Pakistan?

I support Rahul Gandhi’s statement: Pramod Tiwari

Referring to Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi’s statement — “How many aircraft did India lose?” — Congress MP Pramod Tiwari said, “I fully support Rahul Gandhi’s statement. I salute the bravery and valour of our armed forces. Major terrorists like Hafiz (Hafiz Saeed) were not eliminated because the External Affairs Minister admitted that India had informed Pakistan before launching the attack. Today, if our armed forces did not achieve the desired results, the reason lies with the External Affairs Minister, who said that Pakistan was informed in advance.”

Commenting on the all-party delegations visiting key partner countries to showcase India’s fight against terrorism, RJD MP Manoj Jha said, “I have always believed that this was the nation’s mission (Operation Sindoor), but we witnessed a lack of inclusiveness from the central government in this mission. However, setting everything aside now, if possible, the government should call an all-party meeting to resolve the matter.”

What did Rahul Gandhi say?

Rahul Gandhi had called out External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar for his “damning silence” on the number of aircraft India lost under Operation Sindoor. Rahul Gandhi levelled allegations despite PIB fact-checking the claims and debunking them.

Taking to X, Rahul Gandhi had said: “EAM Jaishankar’s silence isn’t just telling — it’s damning. So I’ll ask again: How many Indian aircraft did we lose because Pakistan knew?” “This wasn’t a lapse. It was a crime. And the nation deserves the truth,” he added.

Earlier on Saturday, Rahul Gandhi accused the External Affairs Minister of alerting Pakistan ahead of India’s response during Operation Sindoor.
