Earlier on May 7, Consul General of Israel at Mumbai, Kobbi Shoshani, had also lauded ‘Operation Sindoor’. Affirming Israel’s support for India’s right to self-defence, Shoshani had pointed out that neither India nor the rest of the world will tolerate any form of terrorism, whether in West Asia or within India.

Shortly after Operation Sindoor, Israel’s Ambassador to India Reuven Azar had also expressed strong backing for India’s right to defend itself.
