Hair loss and baldness are becoming increasingly common due to changes in lifestyle and eating habits. In an effort to combat this problem, many young people are spending lakhs of rupees on solutions like wigs and hair transplants. However, these techniques have not proven to be completely effective. In response to the growing issue of baldness, Patanjali carried out in-depth research. The results were surprising. A permanent solution to baldness was found, and the research has also been published in the National Library of Medicine.

According to Ayurvedic principles, hair fall is caused by an imbalance of Vata and Pitta. The research addressed this issue through treatments based on Shodhana, Shamana, and Chikitsa. Within six weeks, not only did hair fall stop, but new hair growth was also observed.

Six weeks of treatment

Patients who had previously undergone other treatments and experienced only temporary relief were treated at Patanjali for six weeks. They were hospitalised and given regular Shodhana therapy using the Panchakarma method. In addition, they received medicines orally and nasally, and oil massages were administered to the scalp. Following this, new hair began to grow on the scalp and other parts of the body. The research concluded that if Vata and Pitta are brought under control, hair fall can be permanently cured and new hair growth can occur. The study also suggests that further research can be conducted on this treatment.
