Gaya, 23 April 2025 – Additional Chief Secretary of the Sports Department, Bihar Government, Mr. B. Rajender, held a meeting at the Bipard Gaya auditorium with Commissioner of Magadh Division Dr. Safina A.N., Deputy Development Commissioner, City Police Superintendent, Municipal Commissioner, district-level officers, and senior police officials. The primary agenda was to ensure the successful organization of the Khelo India Youth Games 2025.
He stated that hosting this event for the first time in Bihar is a matter of pride for the state. The government is taking all possible measures to facilitate athletes, supporting staff, spectators, security, traffic management, and parking arrangements.
Special attention was given to the accommodation, food, and transportation of athletes during the meeting. The Additional Chief Secretary directed that the catering menu be fixed, and food quality and hygiene be strictly maintained. The District Transport Officer was instructed to ensure adequate vehicle availability and set up help desks for athletes’ local visits.
The City Police Superintendent was directed to identify parking areas, drop gates, and frisking points for spectators. He emphasized that the event will enhance the branding of both Bihar and Gaya district, with the district administration conducting extensive publicity campaigns.
Other senior officials were also present at the meeting. The Khelo India Youth Games 2025 is a significant opportunity to promote sports culture in Bihar and provide a national platform for young talent.
