New Delhi: A massive blast took place out the residence of a policeman in Gurdaspur district of Punjab on Monday night.
The explosion occurred in Raimal village situated in Dera Baba Nanak area of Batala in Gurdaspur.
This time, the target of the blast was not a police post, but near the house of a police officer. It was said to be a low-intensity blast.
There were no casualties in the incident. Punjab Police say they are probing the case from the angles of personal enmity. Due to security reasons, the Punjab police hasn’t revealed the identity of the policeman in question. A team of forensic department officials have reached the spot.
