One terrorist killed in gunfight with security forces in J&K’s Baramulla

Jammu: A terrorist was reportedly been killed in an encounter between terrorists and security forces in Rampur area of ​​Sopore in Baramulla district of North Kashmir on Saturday. A top police officer said that security forces have killed a terrorist in Sopore, whose identity has not been ascertained yet.  Police said that the encounter is going on and two-three terrorists are suspected to be hiding.

According to police, as soon as the joint team of security forces intensified the search towards the suspected location, the hidden terrorists started firing at the security forces, after which the encounter started. The top police officer has confirmed the killing of one terrorist in the encounter, while the operation is going on in the area.
