He added that over 3,000 new RSS sakhas (branches) were established this year, with more than 72,000 in operation across the country. Highlighting the organisation’s commitment to social service, he mentioned that during Cyclone Dana, around 1,000 pracharaks (volunteers) assisted in Bengal and Odisha, and during the Wayanad landslide in Kerala, RSS volunteers supported both Hindu and Muslim families alike.

The meeting, inaugurated by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, saw participation from 386 senior officials from 46 provinces. The event provided a platform for top leaders to review annual progress, strategise for the future, and discuss the organisation’s path as it approaches its centenary in 2025.

RSS’s All India Publicity Chief, Sunil Ambekar, had previously underscored the meeting’s significance as an opportunity to set future goals for RSS while discussing social unity and national cohesion. Ambekar stated, “In a nation as diverse as ours, fostering peaceful coexistence is essential, and our discussions are focused on solutions for achieving this harmony. Our aim is to work towards a stronger and more united India.”

Reflecting on the RSS’s proactive role in recent times, he highlighted community service efforts in response to natural disasters, mentioning the organisation’s relief operations in cyclone-impacted areas like Odisha and West Bengal.

The meeting also reviewed progress on goals set during the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha earlier this year, with a focus on achieving them by 2025. Discussions ranged from youth outreach programs to tackling the societal effects of digital technology.

Taking place amid key assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, this meeting holds added significance, with many crediting RSS support for BJP’s recent win in Haryana. The organisation’s involvement is expected to influence the upcoming electoral contests as well.
