Infiltration bid foiled in Jammu & Kashmir’s Baramulla, 2 soldiers injured

Jammu: An infiltration attempt was thwarted by vigilant troops at Nagin Post in Butapathri sector of Baramulla district, located near Line of Control (LoC). This area has been known for its sensitivity and has seen frequent infiltration attempts in the past.

The incident took place in Gulmarg, Baramulla, where security forces were on high alert. As the infiltration unfolded, a gunfight broke out between the infiltrators and the troops. During this exchange of fire, some injuries were reported. According to sources, the injured included both army personnel and an army porter.
