New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted widespread rainfall across various regions of India, with significant downpours expected in parts of the East, Northeast, and Southern Peninsular regions. The forecast highlighted moderate to heavy rainfall in these areas over the coming week, with some states likely to experience very heavy or extremely heavy rainfall.
