‘Gods should be kept away from politics’: says Supreme Court on Tirupati Laddu row

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday while hearing pleas around the Tirupati Laddu controversy, said gods should be kept away from politics.

The apex court told the Andhra Pradesh government’s counsel that the lab reports indicate that the ghee which was subjected to the test, was the rejected ghee. Moreover, it asked the State what the need was to go to the press after it ordered the SIT probe into it.
