New Delhi: Fariq Naik, son of controversial Islamic scholar Zakir Naik, recently made a major statement about religious conversions during an appearance on Pakistani YouTuber Nadir Ali’s podcast. In the show, which touched upon the topic of religious conversions, Ali asked whether it was easier to convert women to Islam compared to men.
Fariq Naik, after first acknowledging his own conversion to Islam, said that it is easier for women to convert. He said that a greater number of women accept Islam than men. He attributed this trend to the respect Islam offers to women. The revelation was shared through a 23-second video clip posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) by the account @pakistan_untold. In the clip, Fariq Naik openly discusses the higher rate of conversion among women. The viral video, which originated from Nadir Ali’s YouTube channel, has already garnered over 5,000 views.

This isn’t the first time Nadir Ali has hosted a member of the Naik family. Previously, Zakir Naik, who is wanted in India and currently resides in Malaysia, appeared on the same show where he faced various questions on religious matters.
Naik rules out return to India, citing fear of arrest
In the podcast, Naik discussed the possibility of returning to India, the allegations against him, and shared his thoughts on Prime Minister Modi. Naik, who fled to Malaysia in 2016 amid these accusations, responded with a touch of sarcasm when asked about coming back. He remarked, “Going to India is easy, but leaving is the hard part. If I return, they will roll out the red carpet and throw me in jail.” The Islamic scholar further added, “I am at the top of their terrorist list.”
