In a post on X, Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav expressed concern over the incident, calling it “worrying” and a “symbol of the current economic pressure in the country.”

“All companies and government departments need to take this issue seriously. This is an irreparable loss of the country’s human resources. Such sudden deaths raise questions about working conditions. The true measure of a country’s progress is not just in rising service or product figures, but in how mentally free, healthy, and happy its people are,” a rough translation of Yadav’s Hindi post indicated.

The SP chief also attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), claiming that the country’s economic policies had failed.
