While Armaan, Rohit and Aryan support her through this tough time, they ask her to give herself time to heal. Rohit adds that one incident is not capable of unravelling her entire life, she will bounce back stronger.
On the other hand, Kajal requests Abhira to give her strength for her daughter’s sake. With tears in her eyes, she thanks Abhira for saving Charu’s life. She blames herself for failing as a mother and shows regret for not being able to stop Charu’s marriage on time. Abhira encourages Kajal and asks her to think about Charu’s future, instead of the past. Sanjay is seen overhearing Kajal and Abhira’s conversation.

Meanwhile, Manish thanks Ruhi for calling him on time. But, Ruhi begins competing with Abhira. Manish is annoyed at this and asks her to put an end to her fight with Abhira. He requests her to understand that he needs both his granddaughters in his old age. When Ruhi learns that Manish prayed for Abhira due to her pregnancy complications, she gets furious.
Later, Ruhi spots Armaan and Abhira reading pregnancy books that Rohit gave to them. Her anger further increases as she confronts Rohit about forgetting her medicines. On the other hand, Kaveri seems to be making plans for the Poddars future. Krish approaches Kaveri and asks her if she is planning to edit her will. Kaveri nods, this excites Krish as Kaveri is finally taking back control over the house. Later, Armaan and Abhira celebrate Diwali together. They then finally address the elephant in the room. Armaan confesses that, if it were between her and the baby, he would choose her. Abhira asks Armaan to stop thinking about the future and live in the present.

Meanwhile, Madhav questions Vidya if she is happy for the couple. Vidya replies that Madhav never understood her true intentions. She explains that she was angry at Armaan for choosing Abhira over his own mother. Vidya still refuses to accept Armaan and Abhira’s baby. Kaveri overhears this and says that she will only shower love on their baby. Armaan and Abhira listen to this conversation and feel that there is hope.
Ruhi falls down the stairs and calls out for help. Then, Ruhi imagines Abhira getting pampered instead of her. Abhira says Ruhi hopes that she never becomes a mother.
