‘You can take away Krishna’s Army but not Krishna’: Tej Pratap warns those trying to separate him from brother

Patna: Ousted RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav has made a fresh post on social media platform ‘X’, addressing his brother, Tejashwi Yadav. In the post he has warned people whom he claims are trying to create a rift between him and his brother. He compared his brother to Mahabharat’s mythological character, Arjun and described himself as Krishna.

I am always with you: Tej Pratap Yadav to Tejashwi

Tej Pratap Yadav in his post on ‘X’ said, “Those who dream of separating me from my Arjun, you will never succeed in your conspiracies, you can take Krishna’s army but not Krishna himself.”

He further addressed his younger brother saying, “I will soon expose every conspiracy. Just have faith my brother, I am with you in every situation. Right now I am far away, but my blessings were and will always be with you. My brother, take care of Mummy and Papa. Jaichand is everywhere, inside as well as outside.”

Earlier in another emotional post on social media, Tej Pratap had addressed his parents. He wrote that all he craved for was their blessings and love. He described his parents, Lalu Yadav and Rabri Devi as “his world”. He said that the order given by his parents is greater than the order of God for him.

Expulsion of Tej Pratap Yadav from RJD

Bihar politics and especially RJD has seen a dramatic week, starting with the expulsion of Tej Pratap from RJD. Not only was he expelled from his party, but Lalu Prasad also cut all family ties with him. The action came soon after a Facebook post made from Tej Pratap’s account regarding him being in a relationship with a woman, named Anushka Yadav for 12 years.

The former Minister in the Bihar government had claimed that his account had been hacked, but the damage was already done. Following outrage on social media regarding the post, he was expelled from the party. Reacting to the expulsion of his brother, Tejashwi Yadav, who is seen as the RJD’s face in Bihar, said that “such things are not acceptable”. He however said that Tej Pratap had every right to take his personal decisions, but personal life and political life are different.”

The whole fiasco also elicited a response from Tej Pratap’s ex wife, Aishwarya Rai. She claimed that the entire thing was just a political drama, and her former husband has not been expelled from the party or removed from his family. Tej Pratap and Aishwarya Rai got married in 2018. The marriage however did not last long and they got divorced soon after. Rai alleged that she had been ill treated by her husband and in-laws.
