New Delhi: Polish YouTuber Karolina Goswami, who lives in India, claimed that she was attacked and threatened by Dhruv Rathee fans. According to reports, she received over 220 threats from Dhruv Rathee fans back in May. The threats were made after she claimed to expose Dhruv Rathee’s “anti-India propaganda.” She claimed that she had analysed Rathee’s video and would expose him soon.

On her YouTube channel, Karolina Goswami called out Germany-based Dhruv Rathee for spreading “fake news” and even asked for a ban on his YouTube and other social media accounts. Following the allegations, Karolina and her husband claimed that they were attacked by Dhruv Rathee’s fans in 2023 when fans vandalised their car and took away their devices.
Who is Karolina Goswami?
Karolina Goswami is a Polish citizen and an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holder. Currently, she resides in India with her husband, Anurag and their two sons. She and her husband jointly run their YouTube channel, India in Details, with 1.1 million subscribers.

As per BookMyShow, Karolina was triggered by the events she experienced and realised that India is not what is shown on global television. Through her social media channels, she talks about India and presents lesser-known facts and sides of India through her movies while also enlightening her viewers about the country’s rich ancient past, its contemporary achievements and inspiring stories.
After receiving threats, she appealed to the Indian government to provide her security. She even shared screenshots of the rape threats. In her appeal, she wrote, “My family and I have faced more than 220 threats and we can’t bear this anymore.” However, she did not receive any response from the government.
The YouTuber also announced recently that she and her family would not reside in one city but would continue to move around.
