New Delhi: Former Indian captain MS Dhoni was recently spotted boarding a flight with the IndiGo airlines along with wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva. A video of the trio boarding the flight has been doing rounds on social media, leaving the fans of the ‘Captain Cool’ guessing where the iconic player is travelling to.

Although there isn’t much information on Dhoni’s journey details, the 43-year-old was seen walking up on the staircase of the flight with Ziva moving ahead of him. He donned a brown t-shirt and black pant while dashing in his long-hair look.

The moment Dhoni entered the flight, the crew and fellow passengers were delighted to see him. The passengers in the front seat waved at him, and the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) talisman responded them by shaking hands.

MS Dhoni’s IPL future a big suspense for his fans

Over the last four seasons of the IPL, Dhoni’s future as a player is always the hot topic during the matches of CSK. By the end of the season, the speculations of the former CSK skipper playing his last season are always in the fore. The player himself is asked about it every year.

With the IPL 2025 auction to be a mega auction, the five-time IPL champions CSK will have to ponder a lot to decide their retention policies. The news on the brighter note is that they can retain Dhoni in the older uncapped player rule, where a player who hasn’t played international cricket for last five years or isn’t part of BCCI’s central contract list will be considered as an uncapped player.

Dhoni retired from all formats of international cricket in August 2020, though his last appearance in the Indian shirt was made in July 2019 during the 2019 World Cup. His competitive cricket is limited only to IPL in the last four years.

The CSK management is yet to take a call on its retention of players with the final date to submit the list is October 31.
