New Delhi: A defective helicopter airlifted for repairing by Army’s MI-17 chopper accidentally fell from mid-air in Uttarakhand’s Kedarnath on Saturday morning. The incident happened after the towing rope snapped.

A Kestrel Aviation aircraft which was being taken underslung from Kedarnath to Gauchar has been released midway near Bhimballi as it was said to be unstable.
