Video footage emerging from Pakistan reveals widespread panic and destruction after an Indian airstrike targeted terrorist infrastructure in Bahalwapur and surrounding areas. The visuals show ambulances rushing to transport the injured to hospitals.
In a significant counter-terrorism action, the Indian Armed Forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, striking multiple sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK). This operation was executed just days after the tragic Pahalgam terror attack, which resulted in the deaths of 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen.
According to reports from news agency ANI, the Indian Ministry of Defence confirmed that nine locations were struck during this operation. The mission has been characterised as “focused, measured, and non-escalatory,” with a clear objective to dismantle terrorist camps responsible for planning and directing attacks against India.
The Defence Ministry emphasised that the strikes were specifically aimed at terrorist infrastructure and did not target Pakistani military facilities, indicating India’s commitment to avoiding further escalation in tensions. “Altogether, nine sites have been targeted. Our actions have been focused, measured, and non-escalatory in nature,” the Ministry stated, reinforcing the precision and intent behind the military operation.
