A massive fire broke out in a sofa manufacturing factory near Wagheshwar parking in Chandnagar Jakatnaka in Kharadi area of Pune. The fire erupted around 7.30 in the morning on Wednesday.
In the videos, huge plumes of smoke can be seen billowing from the factory. Due to the presence of large quantity of wood, cloth and sponge in the factory, the fire spread quickly. As soon as information about the fire was received, seven fire brigade vehicles rushed to the spot. A crowd gathered at the spot. The fire brigades are trying to douse the fire.
There is no information about casualties yet. The exact cause of the factory fire is still to be ascertained.
