VIDEO: Andhra, Telangana floods: 300 brand new cars, other vehicles submerged in Vijayawada floods

Vijayawada: Unprecedented rainfall in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana has paralysed life in the two states. The heavy rains have caused heavy damage along with loss of lives. At least 27 people have so far dies in the rains in the two states.

In Vijayawada, around 300 brand new cars and some other vehicles that were under service submerged in the floods. Many other industries have suffered massive loss owing to the rains. Watch the videos of the havoc the rains caused in the two neighbouring states.

Vijayawada is one of the flood affected districts in Andhra Pradesh and NDRF teams carried out rescue operations in the district on Monday. At least 10 NDRF teams arrived in Vijayawada including three from Tamil Nadu, 3 from Punjab and 3 from Odisha to carry out the rescue operations with their boasts and other equipment.

Along with this, rescue operations are being carried out in NTR District by eight NDRF and 10 SDRF teams. On Monday, reports suggested that four more choppers are being pressed into service for rescue in Vijayawada.
