Twin daughters used to cry day and night, preventing the mother from getting any rest

The police started a thorough investigation, including questioning and checking the surrounding cameras. When Shubhangi’s story about going out to get milk did not match the camera footage, the police became suspicious. After several hours of questioning, Shubhangi broke down and confessed to the crime. During the interrogation, Shubhangi revealed that her twin daughters used to cry day and night, preventing her from getting any rest. Due to her young age and lack of family support, her irritability increased. In a fit of anger and frustration, she first suffocated the crying girls with a pillow. When they started screaming, she strangled them with a dupatta, leading to their deaths.

This strange and heartbreaking incident has left the community in shock and highlights the importance of mental health support for young mothers. This also questions the mother and child bond in the present era.
