UP Assembly Bypolls Result: Massive win for BJP in Uttar Pradesh as Yogi Adityanath stamps authority

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won 3 seats and is ahead in 3 in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly bypolls, as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reinforces his authority in a state that is central to the saffron party’s base among Hindi-speaking voters. The Samajwadi Party has won 2 seats till now out of the 9 seats that went to polls.

Till 4 pm, according to the Election Commission of India, the BJP is leading on 3 seats and has already won 3.

In Kundarki, Ramveer Singh of Bharatiya Janata Party is leading by 108934 votes against his nearest rival Mohammad Rizwan of Samajwadi Party. Chand Babu of Aazad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) is in the third place.

Deepak Patel of BJP won in Phulpur; he secured 78289 votes. Mohd Mujtaba Siddiqui of Samajwadi Party came in the second place with 66984 votes.

In Ghaziabad, Sanjeev Sharma of Bharatiya Janata Party has won by 69351 votes. His nearest rival Singh Raj Jatav of
Samajwadi Party bagged 27595 votes.

Tej Pratap Singh of Samajwadi Party won the Karhal seat by bagging 104304 seats. He defeated his nearest rival Anujesh Pratap Singh of Bharatiya Janata Party with a margin of 14725 votes.

Surender Diler of Bharatiya Janata Party emerged victorious in the Khair seat. He bagged 100181 votes and defeated his nearest rival Charu Kain of Samajwadi Party by a margin of 38393 votes.

In Sishamau, Naseem Solanki of Samajwadi Party bagged the seat by securing 69714 votes. She defeated her nearest rival Suresh Awasthi of BJP by a margin of 8564 votes.

In Katehari, Dharmraj Nishad of Bharatiya Janata Party is leading. He has bagged 78138 votes and his winning margin against his nearest rival Shobhawati Verma of Samajwadi Party is 20089.

In Majhawan seats, Shuchismita Maurya of Bharatiya Janata Party is leading against her closest rival Dr Jyoti Bind of Samajwadi Party by a margin of 5636 votes.

In Meerapur, Mithilesh Pal of Rashtriya Lok Dal is winning against Sumbul Rana Samajwadi Party. Her lead margin is 30426 votes.
