Ahmedabad: The state government has ordered a probe after two patients died at the Khyati Hospital in the state capital following angioplasties. As per the reports, at least five other patients are undergoing treatment in ICU.
“This is a very unfortunate incident. Our team is reaching there and they will collect all the information like how many patients underwent angiography, how many angioplasties were done, whether any angioplasty was indicated or not, they will check the records. Our cardiology team is also reaching there. The report will be submitted to the commissioner and necessary action will be taken,” said Deputy Director of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY)
