New Delhi: TV9 Network and Shriram Finance successfully concluded the second season of their impactful initiative, “Highway Heroes”. The month-long campaign aimed not just to honour truck drivers across India but also to empower them in the areas of health, finance, and skill development.

The event reached thousands of drivers across states and connected millions through digital platforms.

The program also featured a series of panel discussions aimed at highlighting the overlooked aspects of a truck driver’s life.

The first session, titled “Gearing Up India: Skilling Drivers for an Inclusive Growth Journey,” focused on upskilling the driver workforce and included experts from the Logistics Skill Council, Shriram Finance, and TV9 Network.

The second discussion, “Steering to Financial Freedom,” featured Bhopal-based truck driver Yogita Raghuvanshi, who shared her journey in a male-dominated profession.

The final panel, “From Stress to Strength: Wellness in Motion,” addressed the physical, mental, and financial well-being of truck drivers, with insights from health professionals, yoga instructors, and logistics experts.

The campaign emphasised that truck drivers are more than just vehicle operators- they are the backbone of the nation’s economy. TV9 and Shriram Finance affirmed their commitment to continuing this initiative to ensure these “Highway Heroes” keep moving forward with strength and dignity.
