New Delhi: US President Donald Trump threatens to “substantially raise” tariffs on India, accusing New Delhi of buying massive amounts of Russian oil. Posting on the Social media Platform Truth Social, Trump said that India is selling the oil purchased from Russia in the open market to make big profits.
“They (India) don’t care how many people in Ukraine are being killed by the Russian War Machine. Because of this, I will be substantially raising the Tariff paid by India to the USA,” Trump wrote in the post.
