Amid the plethora of congratulatory messages for the couple and their newborn, there is one from West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee who shares a good rapport with Tejashwi and especially his father Lalu Prasad Yadav. She went to the hospital where Rajshree and the baby were staying.
While speaking to TV9 reporter, Mamata said, “Tejashwi is blessed with baby boy. This boy has brought good luck to the family. I came to know yesterday night. I am very happy, this family blessed with a boy. I met Lalu ji and Rabri ji. Boy and mother is well. He is very good looking.”
The powerful Yadav family of Bihar received the good news amid the controversial expulsion of Tejashwi’s elder brother, Tej Pratap, from the family and also from RJD for six years after the news of his affair Anushka Yadav came to the fore. While speaking about the row, Tejashwi said that while his elder brother, an adult, has the right to make his own decisions, his father’s decision on the expulsion stands.
