New Delhi: The national capital houses many lavish and extravagant houses and villas that feature the fanciest of architectural designs. The city remains in the one of the top spots in the real estate market. Recently, a bungalow spanning 900 sq yard that was sold for around Rs 100 crore in posh Sunder Nagar area of Delhi made news. But that’s not the costliest and most extravagant home in Delhi. The city has many more lavish and costly houses in its tony societies.

Here are Delhi’s top most expensive homes

  1. Renuka Talwar’s mansion on Prithviraj Road: Renuka Talwar, daughter of DLF chairman and billionaire KP Singh, owns one of the most exorbitant mansion in the city located on Delhi’s Prithviraj Road. The fancy mansion is valued at around Rs 435 crore, as per a report by Forbes and Economic Times. According to current rates, the Rs 435 crore house has reportedly a value of over Rs 510 crore.
  2. Gautam Adani’s bunglow in Lutyens’ Delhi: Gautam Adani, CEO and founder of the Adani Group, owns a huge and extravagant bungalow in Lutyens’ Delhi. The Adani Group won the possession of the house in 2020 for Rs 400 crore. The property spans across 3.4 acres of land, and the lavish bungalow is built across 25,000 sq ft. The house has seven bedrooms, six dining rooms, living areas, and a study. As per an ET report, the property also has 7,000 sq ft of land for staff quarters.
  3. Harish Ahuja’s house on Prithviraj Road: Harish Ahuja of Shahi Exports owns an exorbitant property on the Prithviraj Road. Harish Ahuja is father of Anand Ahuja who is married to actor Sonam Kapoor. As per a GQ report, the property was bought by Harish Ahuja at whopping Rs 173 crore. The mansion spans across 3,170-square-yard in the heart of the city.
  4. Jindal House in Lutyens’: The industrialist family of the Jindal Group also owns a fancy bungalow in the national capital in one of its poshest neighbourhoods. As per a report by Times Now, the house costs between Rs 125-150 crore. Politician and industrialist Naveen Jindal reportedly lives in this bungalow.
  5. Neeraj Ghei’s new house in Delhi’s Sunder Nagar area: Recently, a bungalow spanning 900 sq yard bungalow in posh Sunder Nagar area of Delhi has been sold for Rs 100 crore, as per Delhi’s real estate market sources. They added that the bungalow, previously owned by Sunil and Ravi Sachdev, had been sold for around Rs 96 crore to Neeraj Ghei. However, both the buyer or seller could not be reached for a comment.

As per media reports, former attorney general of India Mukul Rohatgi, and his wife Vasudha, also sold their lavish bungalow in tony Sunder Nagar area of the city for around Rs 100 crore to one Vikram Goyal earlier this year.
