Rajasthan: Due to the activation of Western Disturbance, there are chances of light rain in many areas of Rajasthan in the coming days. According to the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, western disturbance will be active in the state from February 3 to 4. Due to this, between February 3 and 4, there may be light rain at isolated places along with thunder in Bikaner division, Shekhawati region and Jaipur division.
Uttarakhand: IMD said that there is a possibility of heavy rainfall at isolated places in Uttarakhand on February 1. Apart from this, the department has predicted snowfall in areas at a height of 3000 meters in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar districts till February 2. Also, on February 2, a yellow alert has been issued in Bageshwar, Almora, Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Tehri Garhwal, Dehradun, Pauri Garhwal, Pithoragarh and Champawat, indicating the possibility of light thunder and lightning at some places in the state.
There is a possibility of hailstorm in Punjab on February 1. Apart from this, there is a possibility of sporadic hailstorm in West Bengal, Arunachal and Sikkim till February 2. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Arunachal on 2 February.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the maximum temperatures in February will be above normal in many parts of North-West, West Central, North-East and East-Central India. According to the department, the maximum temperature in most parts of Peninsular India and some parts of East-Central India is expected to be normal and below normal.
