Tata will now be offering a panoramic sunroof in one of its most popular models, the Nexon. It will be available only with the top spec variant called the Fearless+PS but it will be available across all engine options. Tata recently introduced the panoramic sunroof option in the Nexon.ev and this is the same sized roof that is available in the recently launched Curvv.
This makes the Tata Nexon the second car to be offered with a panoramic sunroof in this segment, the first one being the Mahindra XUV 3XO which had the panoramic roof from the very beginning in its top spec variants. The top end variant of the Nexon also offers features like a JBL sound system and 360-degree view cameras.
Here is the pricing for the panoramic sunroof variants of the Nexon:
- Nexon Petrol MT Fearless+PS: Rs 13.60 lakh (ex-showroom)
- Nexon Petrol DCT Fearless+PS: Rs 14.80 lakh (ex-showroom)
- Nexon Diesel MT Fearless+PS: Rs 15.00 lakh (ex-showroom)
- Nexon Diesel AMT Fearless+PS: Rs 15.60 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Nexon CNG is offered with a few more variants with the panoramic sunroof:
- Nexon iCNG Creative+PS: Rs 12.80 lakh (ex-showroom)
- Nexon iCNG Creative+PS DT: Rs 13.00 lakh (ex-showroom)
- Nexon iCNG Fearless+PS DT: Rs 14.60 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Nexon is offered with either a 1.2L turbo petrol engine which produces 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque and is paired to either a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. It also gets a 1.5L diesel engine which produces 114 bhp and 260 Nm of torque and is paired to either a 6-speed manual or an AMT transmission. The CNG option has the same 1.2L turbo petrol which produces 99 bhp and 170 Nm of torque and is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission.
