New Delhi: In a dramatic turn of events, five passengers miraculously escaped without any injury after their car flipped multiple times during a freak accident on a highway in Rajasthan’s Nagaur on Friday. The horrific incident was caught on CCTV. The footage shows an SUV carrying the group speeding down the road before the crash.
The driver appeared to lose control while trying to take a turn, which caused the vehicle to overturn at least eight times. The SUV eventually came to a stop in an upside-down position near a car showroom, its mangled remains striking the main gate and breaking it upon impact.
All unhurt, group asks for tea
Even though the crash was very severe, all five occupants came out without any single injury. According to officials, the driver managed to jump out of the vehicle while it was still flipping. The remaining passengers exited the overturned car after it came to a stop in front of the showroom. And then, in an amusing twist, the group walked into the showroom and requested tea, asking, “Hume chai pila do” (Please serve us tea).
An employee at the car agency confirmed the bizarre aftermath. “No one suffered any injuries, not even a scratch. They walked in and asked for tea as if nothing had happened,” the staff member said. Officials said that the group was en route from Nagaur to Bikaner when the accident occurred.
