Suryakumar Yadav-led Team India jet off to South Africa for upcoming T20Is

New Delhi: With curtains down on the home Tests action, Team India is all set to take part in the upcoming four-match T20I series against South Africa. Suryakumar Yadav will be taking the team’s charge and with a young squad, has already jetted off to the Rainbow Nation, where the series is scheduled. The series was inserted into Team India’s abroad schedule out of nowhere and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced its squad last week.

The development came to light when Suryakumar Yadav posted a picture on Instagram with his teammates right from the flight on Sunday, in which the likes of Hardik Pandya, Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma, Abhishek Sharma, and Ramandeep Singh were also present. All six players posed for the photograph, telling the fans that they have taken off for the T20I series in South Africa, which begins on November 8 in Durban.
