Srinagar: A major fire broke out in a house near the Lal Bazar in Srinagar on Friday. Protion of a mosque adjacent to the house was also gutted as the blaze erupted from the top floor of the building.
The house is situated in the Kanitar area near the Lal Bazar in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar. Police and fire tenders have been rushed to the spot and dousing operations are underway. No casualties have been reported so far in the fire incident.
Officials confirmed a mosque is also involved in the fire incident and the blaze is yet to be doused. More fire tenders and emergency personnel have been dispatched to the spot.
