SRH Retention List 2025: Heinrich Klaasen retained for Rs 23 crore

New Delhi: Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Thursday announced its retention list ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. A total of five players were retained by the 2016 IPL champions with the team management ensuring to keep hold of their core group, including three overseas players, who helped them reach the final last season.

World Cup-winning captain Pat Cummins was the top-choice retention with the likes of Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Heinrich Klaasen, and Nitish Kumar Reddy are the other retentions made by the Sunrisers. SRH is one of the few teams to retain at least five players.
