New Delhi: Shillong Teer is played in Meghalaya. It is a game played using arrows. It is a legal lottery, which is approved by the government. Just like other games, the Shillong Teer lottery game is also governed by certain rules. All participants of the game get 50 arrows at the start of the game. They need to shoot these arrows at a predesignated target. The name of the winners is declared at the end of the game. Winners are decided based on the number of arrows they shoot correctly, exactly at the target. The person whose maximum arrows have hit the target is the winner of the lottery game.
The tickets of the game are available at 5,000 counters spread across Meghalaya. They can also be bought online.
