Shillong Teer Result TODAY, September 22: 1st and 2nd Round Sunday Lottery Result

New Delhi: Based on archery, the Shillong Teer is a lottery game that is played in the state of Meghalaya. The organiser of this lottery game is Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association (KHASA).  The game is played out  daily in the Shillong Polo Stadium. This lottery game comes under the rules of the Meghalaya Amusement and Betting Tax Act. The one who shoots the most of number of arrows closest to the target or on target is declared the winner and the wins the first prize.

The lottery game’s tickets can be bought from 5,000 designated ticket counters in 11 districts across Meghalaya. Fifty arrows are given to each player as the game gets underway. Out of the 50 arrows, the players have to hit 30 at a pre-designated target in the first round and 20 in the second round. The player who shoots the most number of arrows at the target emerges as the winner. There are 13 states in India where lottery game is legal, and Meghalaya is one of them. The other states are Nagaland, West Bengal, Manipur, Goa and Madhya Pradesh, among other states.
