The Khelo India Youth Games 2025 are being hosted in five districts of Bihar — Patna, Rajgir (Nalanda), Bhagalpur, Gaya, and Begusarai. Football matches are proposed to be held in Begusarai, while badminton matches will take place in Bhagalpur. Preparations for the football competition in Begusarai are in full swing. To ensure that athletes are provided with world-class facilities for the successful conduct of the Khelo India Youth Games, sports department officials visited Begusarai and closely inspected arrangements related to accommodation, food, security, law and order, and the condition of sports grounds. During this visit, necessary guidelines were also given to upgrade the stadiums in Begusarai to meet national competition standards.

After successfully hosting the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy for hockey in Rajgir, Bihar is now ready to host the Khelo India Youth Games 2025. These games will provide a platform for young athletes to showcase and enhance their talent at the national level and will give Bihar a new identity in the field of sports. This is why the sports department of the Bihar government, in collaboration with the local administration, is continuously active in making these games a historic success.
