New Delhi: The name of Haryana YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra has become the talk of the town after she was arrested for allegedly spying for Pakistan. Notably, among the many anecdotes about Jyoti who was a travel vlogger, one particular thing which was arrested the attention of netizens is the account of a a Scottish YouTuber named Callum Mill.
Mill was roaming the streets of Lahore’s Anarkali Bazaar in March 2025 when he spotted Jyoti. It was a chance encounter, and it would have escaped Mill’s attention had it not for one baffling thing: Malhotra was surrounded by at least six men wielding AK-47 rifles, a security detail that we normally see in case of VVIPs.
Callum has a travelogue channel on YouTube named Callum Abroad and he uploaded the video of the encounter in March with the title ‘INDIAN Girl “ABSOLUTELY LOVING” PAKISTAN’. In the video, Callum can be seen exploring the markets of Lahore, one of the most prominent places in Pakistan. While wandering the streets, he sees a few gunmen dressed in green attire carrying assault rifles. Soon, he comes across Jyoti Malhotra, who is seen in the video roaming the market with her security detail.

After Callum introduced himself as being from Scotland, Malhotra asked him if it was his first visit to Pakistan and how does he feel about the country. To this, Callum replied that he loves Pakistan and Malhotra invited him to visit India. When Callum asked her about Pakistan’s hospitality, she said that she is loving it. Callum was baffled after she realized that the security detail was with Malhotra.
He remarked, “The Indian girl…she is the one with the guys, the security. I don’t know what the need for all the guns is. Look how many guns are surrounding her… I think there are more than six gunmen. Very, very strange.” He added, “If you have that level of security surrounding you, it makes the place look unsafe.”
