RSS condemns terror attack in Pahalgam, calls for swift justice for perpetrators

New Delhi: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has condemned the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, calling it a “brutal and reprehensible act”. In a statement, RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and extended condolences to the victims’ families while wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.

The attack, which occurred on Tuesday afternoon in the scenic Baisaran meadow near Pahalgam, left over 25 people dead, including two foreign nationals. Many others were injured as terrorists opened fire on unsuspecting tourists in the popular tourist destination.

‘Attempt to strike at unity and integrity’

The RSS described the attack as an attempt to strike at the unity and integrity of the nation. “The heinous act of the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, is highly condemnable and heart-wrenching. We pay homage to the deceased and pray for the early recovery of the injured in this attack. This is an attack on the unity and integrity of our nation. All political parties and associations should rise above their differences and condemn this act of terrorism,” Hosabale said.
