New Delhi: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh on Tuesday organised a press conference to inform about the preparations for celebrations of the organisation completing 100 years this month. The press briefing was conducted by RSS leader Sunil Ambekar at Sadhana Tower, in Jhandewalan in New Delhi.
To commemorate the centenary year of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, a three-day lecture series is being organized at Vigyan Bhavan on 26, 27 and 28 August 2025. This lecture series will be addressed by the Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat.
The press conference was addressed by Sunil Ambekar, who is All India Prachar Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Ambekar said Sarsanghchalak Dr Bhagwat will discuss about Panch Parivartan during the lecture series.
RSS sets goals for 2025
For its centenary year, the RSS has set a goal to reach every block in every state across the country. The organisation considers its local branches (shakhas) its greatest strength and aims to increase the number of shakhas to over one lakh this year.
This information was shared by Anil Gupta, Delhi Prant Karyavah, Delhi RSS, during the Dev Rishi Narad Journalism Awards ceremony. He stated that the centenary year celebrations would be inaugurated on August 26 with a three-day lecture series by Mohan Bhagwat in the four major metros. Alongside this, nationwide outreach campaigns will also be conducted.
