New Delhi: Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals announced its retention list on Thursday (October 31) ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. Skipper Sanju Samson was the top retention as the inaugural IPL winners named as many as six retentions.

Youngsters Yashasvi Jaiswal, Riyan Parag, and Dhruv Jurel were included in the retentions while Shimron Hetmyer was the only overseas player included among the five capped players by the Royals. Pace bowler Sandeep Sharma was the franchise’s uncapped retention to complete the list of all six players.

Rajasthan is only the second team after Kolkata Knight Riders to use all six retentions ahead of the mega auction later in the year.
