RG Kar case: CBI arrests ex-principal Sandip Ghosh for destroying evidence

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has made two more arrests in connection with the Kolkata rape and murder case. Sandeep Ghosh, the former principal of RG Kar Medical College and the Station House Officer (SHO) of a local police station have been taken into custody  for allegedly misleading investigators and trying to hide evidence.

Notably, Sandip Ghosh was already in custody due to a separate corruption case filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). With these latest arrests, the total number of people arrested in the case now stands at three. Accused Sanjay Roy was previously arrested by Kolkata Police just two days after the incident. The CBI’s ongoing investigation aims to unravel the circumstances surrounding the heinous crime.

This is a developing story. More details awaited..
