
New Delhi: The Center of Policy Research and Governance (CPRG) is hosting the पढ़AI Conclave on May 27–28, 2025, in New Delhi – a national platform bringing together senior ministers, top policymakers, leading academics, and innovators to chart the transformative role of AI in India’s education system.
Chief Guest Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister of Education, will be joined by a distinguished lineup of leaders: Shri Jitin Prasada, Minister of State for Commerce & IT; Shri Ashish Sood, Delhi’s Minister for Home, Power & Education; Shri Vineet Joshi, Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Government of India & Chairman, University Grants Commission; Shri Chamu Krishna Shastry, Chairman, Bharatiya Bhasha Samiti; Prof. Yogesh Singh, Vice Chancellor, University of Delhi; Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Vice-Chairman, University Grants Commission; Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, National Educational Technology Forum; Shri Sanjeev Bikhchandani, Co-Founder, Info Edge; Shri Shashi Shekhar Vempati, Former CEO, Prasar Bharati; and Shri Abhishek Singh, CEO, IndiaAI Mission.
The two-day Conclave will explore how AI can advance inclusive learning, institutional resilience, skilling, and future-ready universities, aligning with Prime Minister Modi’s Digital India vision. Ahead of the event, CPRG Director Dr. Ramanand emphasized: “AI in education is not just a technological shift but a societal one. Responding to this shift requires a holistic and inclusive conversation with all stakeholders. The पढ़AI Conclave is an attempt to create that space.”
This initiative is part of CPRG’s Future of Society program, which examines how emerging technologies like AI reshape institutions and societal behaviors. CPRG’s leadership in this space has been internationally recognized, including at the Paris AI Action Summit 2025 and the Belgrade GPAI Summit 2024.
