The site, located about 3 kilometers from Mughal Road, is accessible only on foot, adding to its mysterious allure. Experts believe the carvings could reveal valuable insights into the traditions and beliefs of the region’s past inhabitants.

However, there is a growing call to preserve the site. Exposure to natural elements and human interference could damage the carvings if proper steps are not taken. Historians emphasize the importance of protecting this treasure trove of heritage for future generations.

This discovery reminds of the rich, untold history buried within Kashmir’s valleys.
