WHO IS RADHIKA OJHA?
Radhika is a 16-year-old student aiming to bring a change in society by creating opportunities for the differently-abled in sports. Balancing the rigours of her International Baccalaureate studies with impactful community service, she has led multiple initiatives focused on sustainable development and social equity. Over the past 3–4 years, Radhika has relentlessly championed the cause of differently-abled athletes, advocating for greater participation, access to resources, and emotional support. Her work challenges the prevailing misconception that physical disability equates to inability. “Our society needs to stop treating sports for the differently-abled as something unusual. It should be common—just like any other sport,” she passionately advocates.
Among Radhika’s numerous acclaimed initiatives, ‘Raahat’ is particularly noteworthy. This project focuses on creating sustainable and accessible housing for underprivileged communities. Radhika is committed to the belief that everyone, including those with disabilities, has the right to live with dignity.
Inspired by the Olympic spirit of fairness and equal opportunity, Radhika envisions an India where differently-abled youth can chase their athletic dreams with pride, dignity, and confidence. Apart from sports, Radhika is also interested in astronomy and scientific exploration, with a commitment to bring innovation and social change.
