‘Proves how BJP misuses agencies’: Sisodia after SC grants bail to Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi: Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia on Friday welcomed the bail granted Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the Supreme Court and said that the decision by the apex court is a slap on the face of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He added that the Supreme Court’s granting of bail to Kejriwal has once again proved how the BJP-led Government has misused agencies like CBI and ED.

“The decision given by the Supreme Court on Friday is very important. First of all, it is a matter of relief for AAP and the Delhi government that Kejriwal will walk out of jail. I feel very emotional and happy that our leader Kejriwal will come out after all the misdeeds done by the BJP,” Sisodia said at a press conference after the Supreme Court granted bail to the Delhi chief minister.

He added, “It is not just about Kejriwal’s bail. The Supreme Court has given a big message to the BJP-led government that they will have to stop their tyranny. Today’s order is a slap on the face of the BJP and also proved how the party used agencies in its favour.” The former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister also said that Friday’s decision is SC’s clear message that the people of the country need not worry as the constitution of the country is always there to protect them.

BJP’s intention was clear: Manish Sisodia

While slamming the BJP further for the arrest of Kejriwal earlier, Sidodia added, “The way CBI arrested Kejriwal, it was clear that the CBI took Delhi CM in custody to keep him in jail under the order of the BJP. This was clear from today’s SC decision. People of the country love Kejriwqal. Since he wearing the Kawach of people’s love, blessings of Lord Rama and Hanuman, and also that of the Constitution of India, nobody can harm him.”
