New Delhi: The three-time PKL champion Patna Pirates will face Tamil Thalaivas in the Gachibowl Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad, on Friday, October 25. Patna is at the bottom of the table, having lost their first match against Puneri Paltan. The defending Champion thrashed the Pirates in their season opener. Shubham Shinde is leading the Pirates side for the first time in PKL.
Thalaivas have a clean record this season as they won both their matches convincingly. The most expensive PKL season 11 player Sachin Tanwar performed well in this season. Thalaivas have great all-rounders and are the only team this season that has not lost any matches. Both teams shared a 7-7 win record against each other in PKL history.
In the second match of the night, Defending champions will take on Randhir Singh’s Bengaluru Bulls. Bengaluru are the only team who have not won any match this season and will be looking for their first win of the season. The Bulls were thrashed by UP Yoddhas in their last match as they were defeated by 19 points by the Yoddhas.
Paltan started the season on a high note by defeating Harayana Steelers and Pirates in the first two matches but Thalaivas put breaks on Paltan and handed them their first loss of the season. Mohit Goyat is performing well in the raiding department for the Paltans. Paltan and Bulls collided 18 times in PKL history, where Patlan was victorious on 11 occasions while Bulls won 7 times.
